Newark Northern Bowls Club is an outdoor bowls club situated in the heart of Newark. The club provides a range of bowling opportunities, catering to both social and competitive players. In addition to the bowling activities, it hosts social events, offering members and visitors further opportunities to engage with the club and its community.
Newark Northern Centenary Triples, to celebrate the clubs centenary year all members are invited to attend this club event. Spectators welcome to come and enjoy a great days bowling.

Newark Northern sends its very best wishes to all our members competing at Leamington in the National Bowls Finals at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa. Go well, everyone — the whole club is behind you.
History is coming back to Nottinghamshire! Newark Northern will host the Police Sport UK National Finals, running 7th –10th September 2026 — the first Nottinghamshire venue to do so since 1957. A major national event. A huge moment for the club.
About
Newark Northern Bowls Club was established in 1926 and is currently home to over 40 members actively participating in the sport of lawn bowls. The club’s outdoor green operates throughout the summer season, from April to September, providing a well-maintained and welcoming environment for both recreational and competitive play.
The club has cultivated a progressive and forward-looking atmosphere, successfully balancing youthful enthusiasm with experienced leadership. The dedication of past and present county players has been instrumental in mentoring emerging talent, resulting in the development of national prize winners and county champions on numerous occasions.
We have social events at the club house, from quiz nights to coffee mornings.
